The Business Development Manager is responsible for bringing in new business to WLE, and building lasting relationships between our company and potential customers. This role helps with the following: proposal generation, lead generation, site walks, take-offs, presentations, customer relationship building, gifting, company events (external and internal), customer follow-ups and all administration related to making a sale happen at our company. This is an end-to-end business sales position that is selling B2B, where the position takes a sale from the lead being introduced to our company all the way to closing and hand off to operations.
The Project Manager role at WLE is heavily customer facing and participates in all phases of the construction project cycle. In pre-contract, familiarize yourself with the project, objectives and project terms; fill out project schedules - turn into the Project Coordinator; turn in projected list of crews needed to the appropriate VP; throughout the project you are passing scheduling updates to the PC (weekly); liasoning change orders between estimating/revenue manager and customer; fill out material order forms - send to Purchasing Agent; responsible for all direct customer communication; daily on-site management of projects; final walks; WLE punch lists; warranty items for all projects managed; help with collections processes; help check payroll cost codes as needed; submit CAPEX ideas to VP's; help on-board employees (new PM's and Foreman).
Initial site visits for new contracts for current customers; submitting proposals to estimating; submission and follow-up on proposals; liasoning with VP of LM on contracting process for new properties of current client; conducting intro meeting after contract execution; creating chem, irrig., and additional service schedule; coordinating maint. schedule with VP of LM.; weekly site visits with eval of crews on-site; reporting irrig. issues to head of irrig. maint.; creating enhancement proposals; filling out property quality forms; submitting and follow-up on irrigation reports; written updates to customers; looking for opportunities to sell; in-field training of crews.
